Packing items for travel is often overlooked, especially when it comes to business trips. Packing a bag or suitcase involves more than simply placing random items inside. There are many factors to consider, such as what is needed, how best to pack the items, and how to optimise every available space in the bag or suitcase.

Looking more closely, packing now also requires consideration of various other factors, such as airline regulations, weather conditions at the destination, the duration of the trip, and the planned activities. Therefore, good packing requires a combination of careful planning, creativity in luggage organisation, and an understanding of the specific needs of the trip.

There are at least seven key things to consider when preparing to pack for travel:

   Use efficient folding or rolling techniques to maximise space and reduce the likelihood of wrinkles.
5. Separate Footwear
   Pack footwear in separate, clean bags to prevent dirt from transferring to clothing or other items in your suitcase.
6. Utilise Every Space
   Make use of all empty spaces.
7. Prioritise Important Items
   Place essential and frequently used items, such as chargers, skincare products, medications, and vitamins, in an easily accessible compartment or pouch within your luggage.

Beyond these seven key considerations, there are many other ways to optimise your packing.
